Lawtino Case
Empowering the Hispanic Community in San Antonio
Lawtino is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and accessibility of the legal profession within the Hispanic community in San Antonio. With only 5.8% of lawyers in the US being Hispanic, we strive to inspire young Hispanic youth to pursue careers in law and make it a more desired and achievable goal.

- Cover the cost of the LSAT exam itself as one of our law scholarships.
- This can be a significant barrier for many aspiring students pursuing a law degree.
- Cover the fees for students to preview their LSAT scores, which helps them decide whether they want to retake the exam or not.

- Cover the cost of 1 LSAT prep course at UTSA (either in-person or online) for students pursuing a law degree.
- Includes tutoring, materials, and practice tests.
NHI GREAT DEBATE SCHOLARSHIP ($1,000)
LSAT EXAM TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP ($560)
- Sponsor 1 student interested in a law degree with the chance to compete at the Great Debate, and most importantly, gain life skills.
- Cover costs for competition (transportation, room, meals, fees).
PRE-COLLEGE ONLINE PROGRAM at COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY IN AUGUST SCHOLARSHIP ($2,810)
- Offer 1 high school student the chance to virtually attend a summer program at Columbia University to explore a law degree.
- Preferred application date is April.
- Covers online tuition & fees.
KEEP US OPERATIONAL SPONSORSHIP ($900)
- Sponsor 1 year of operational costs to keep on spreading awareness in San Antonio about the law degree and profession.
- Covers administrative costs.
Volunteer As a Guest Speaker
- Volunteer for 20 minutes to speak at one of our monthly series or record a podcast with us.
- Share your journey to becoming an attorney and how you have made an impact with the profession.
